Photographer introduction

Welcome to my web site. I am a Natural History Photographer based in central Scotland.

I specialise in photographing the great outdoors, its beauty, its landscape, the wildlife and

nature that is all around us.

My favourite location are the Highlands & Islands of Scotland and you will find

that my site is dominated by this location.

I love photographing nature in all its different forms. From capturing wild forms

of animal and birdlife to shooting macro

and close-up images and in particular from as near a ground angle view as possible.

I have various cameras and accessories. My main DSLR is now Nikon though I shot

on Canon for many years and still have

my Canon SLR film kit which I use to shoot slides. I also have a Panasonic Lumix

and a Samsung compact which has live

view and a flip screen. Numerous lenses,

tripods, filters and flash complete my kit.
